Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

AlphaCorp AI is a trade name of Ignas Vaitukaitis e CIA LTDA (CNPJ 60.667.957/0001-18), Av. Ayrton Senna, 2500, Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, RJ 22775-003, Brazil. It is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website and through AlphaCorp AI Academy, our online learning platform at education.alphacorp.ai.

Our contact channel for privacy matters, for data subjects and for the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD), is info@alphacorp.ai.

2. Data We Collect

Data you give us:

  • Newsletter: your email address.
  • AI Readiness Test and AI Fluency Test: your answers, your name, your work email, your company if you add it, and the score and level we calculate from your answers.
  • Booking a call: bookings are made in a Google Calendar appointment schedule. Google collects the name, email address and notes you enter, and the booking appears in our calendar.
  • Email and phone: what you write or tell us, your email address or phone number, and the time of the call.

Data collected automatically:

  • Server logs: IP address, browser type and access times, collected by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and performance.
  • Analytics: pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the campaign parameters in the link you arrived through.
  • Business visitor identification: the IP address of a visit is matched to the organisation it belongs to, so we can see which companies are interested in our services. We do not use it to identify you personally.

AlphaCorp AI Academy (education.alphacorp.ai):

  • Account: your name, your email address and your password, which we store only as a one-way hash. If you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us.
  • Learning profile: your language, time zone, role and daily goal.
  • Learning activity: the lessons you open and finish, the format you use (read, watch or listen), your quiz answers and whether they were right, your review dates, streak, points and certificates.
  • AI tutor: the questions you ask are sent, together with the lesson you are on, to the AI model that writes the answer. We do not store the questions or the answers. We only count how many you ask each day, to apply the daily limit.
  • Payments: Stripe handles your card and billing details. We keep your subscription status, plan, renewal date and Stripe customer reference, never your card number.
  • Team plans: the team name, the number of seats, who the admin is, who the members are, and the email addresses the admin invites.
  • Security: your IP address, kept briefly to limit repeated sign-in and sign-up attempts, and your country (from your IP address) to show the right currency.

We do not build advertising profiles, we do not run advertising cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process personal data on these bases:

  • Consent: the newsletter, and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies and business visitor identification. These stay off for those visitors until they accept them.
  • Steps taken at your request: sending you the test report you asked for, and preparing or discussing a possible engagement.
  • Legitimate interest: answering your enquiries, keeping the site secure, preventing abuse of our forms (for example refusing temporary email addresses and limiting each address to one report per test), and, outside the regions named above, measuring how the site is used.
  • Contract: running your AlphaCorp AI Academy account, subscription or team seat, including the emails that confirm your address, reset your password and invite you to a team.
  • Legal obligation: keeping billing and tax records.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to send what you asked for, to reply to you, to evaluate and deliver engagements, and to understand how the site is used. If you take one of the tests we email you the report, and we may occasionally send you a practical note on AI. You can stop those emails at any time by replying to one of them or by writing to us.

The test score is calculated automatically from your answers. It decides which report you receive and has no legal or similarly significant effect on you.

In AlphaCorp AI Academy we use your learning activity to run your courses: to choose what to review and when, to keep your streak and to issue certificates. A certificate shows your name and the course, and anyone with its link can open it. On a team plan, the admin who manages the team can see each member's name, email address, lessons completed, minutes learned this week, streak and last active date. Admins do not see quiz answers or tutor questions.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing or advertising.

5. Service Providers

These providers process data on our behalf:

  • Vercel: hosting for this website and for AlphaCorp AI Academy, server logs and cookieless traffic measurement (United States).
  • Google: Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for site analytics; Google Workspace for email (Gmail sends the test reports), for the sheet that stores newsletter signups and test results, and for the Google Calendar booking schedule; and Google sign-in for AlphaCorp AI Academy, if you choose it (United States).
  • Apollo.io: business visitor identification. Apollo receives your IP address, the pages you view on this site and the campaign parameters you arrived with, and matches the IP address to a company record (United States).
  • Ahrefs: cookieless page analytics (Singapore).
  • Microsoft Azure: hosts our blog content system and the AlphaCorp AI Academy lesson videos and audio, and sends the Academy's account emails from mail.alphacorp.ai. When a page loads images from it, it receives your IP address like any web server (United States).
  • Our telephony provider: connects calls to our phone lines and processes your number and the call time.
  • Stripe: subscription payments and billing for AlphaCorp AI Academy (United States).
  • Neon: the AlphaCorp AI Academy database (United States).
  • OpenRouter: passes AI tutor questions to the AI model provider that writes the answer, currently Anthropic (United States).

Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms and the data protection agreements that apply.

6. International Data Transfers

We are based in Brazil and our providers are mainly in the United States, so your data is processed outside your country. Where the GDPR or the LGPD requires it, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Analytics (Google Analytics): the cookies _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to two years. They tell returning visitors from new ones.
  • Business visitor identification (Apollo.io): an anonymous visitor ID kept in your browser's local storage.
  • Necessary: your theme, your language choice and your cookie choice are remembered in your browser. They are not used for tracking and do not need consent.
  • AlphaCorp AI Academy: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and a short-lived copy of your session that makes pages load faster. The Academy uses no analytics or advertising cookies.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies and visitor identification stay off until you accept them in the banner. Elsewhere they are on by default. Everyone can change the choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page; turning them off also deletes the analytics cookies and the visitor ID. Advertising signals are switched off for all visitors. Vercel and Ahrefs measure traffic without cookies.

8. Data Retention

  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Test results and contact details: up to 24 months after your last contact with us.
  • Copies of the report emails we send: up to 12 months.
  • Emails and booking details: for as long as the conversation or engagement lasts, and up to 24 months after it ends.
  • Google Analytics data: 14 months.
  • Server logs: up to 30 days.
  • AlphaCorp AI Academy account and learning activity: while your account exists. Write to us to close your account and we delete this data within 30 days, except billing records.
  • Team invitations: until they are accepted or cancelled.
  • Billing records: for as long as tax law requires, usually five years.

9. Your Rights

Under the LGPD and the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. For cookies, use the Cookie settings link in the footer.
  • Request data portability in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@alphacorp.ai. We will respond within 15 days (LGPD) or 30 days (GDPR).

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
